Margaret E. Zaleski
Margaret E. Zaleski, 83, of Stratford, formerly of Milford for 60 years, wife of the late Edward V. Zaleski, died Jan. 21.
Daughter of the late William and Anna Kallmann Loucony, she was born March 13, 1928 in Bridgeport.
Mrs. Zaleski retired from The Crane and Ferguson Machine Corporation where she worked as an office manager. She was active throughout her life, participating in many clubs and organizations.
She was the past president of Write Inc in Bridgeport for 34 years and Engine Company #3 for the Milford Volunteer Fire Department. She was a past president of the Ladies Marching Unit for the Fire Department and also was a member of the Degree of Pocahontas, Shepherds of Bethlehem and the Milford Senior Citzens Center DeMaio Club.
Survivors include her niece, Babara Lesko of Stratford; cousin, James Kallmann of Stratford; her friend, Thelma Northrop of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several other nieces and nephews.
Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, Milford, handled arrangements.
