Angela “June” Peretta Felis

Angela “June” Peretta Felis, 85, of Milford, wife of the late Patrick Felis Jr. , died May 8, at Milford Hospital.

Born on April 29, 1927 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Claire Peretta.

She is survived by her nephew Richard Brighindi of Stratford.

Shirley Fox Adams

Shirley Fox Adams, 68, of Naples, Fla., and Milford, Conn., died unexpectedly April 3.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 10:30 a.m., at the Milford First United Church of Christ Congregational, 34 W. Main, Milford.

Susan Elaine Majoris

Susan Elaine Majoris, age 59, of Milford and beloved wife to Louis Majoris, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 at St. Raphael Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 3, 1952 in Greenwich, CT, she was the daughter of Anna Chowka Stashenko of Milford and the late Nicholas Stashenko.

Susan worked as an administrative assistant for several local businesses.

George T. White, age 82, of Milford and formerly of NY, beloved husband to Irene Loporcaro White, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Milford Hospital.

Born on March 8, 1930 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late William and Florence White.

Hugh J. Gray

Hugh J. Gray, age 76, of Milford, beloved husband of Anne Donnelly Gray, died on Saturday, May 12, 2012 after a brief illness.

He was born April 8, 1936 in Glasgow, Scotland and was the son of the late Hugh and Helen Downs Gray.

Hugh was a graduate of St. Mungo’s Academy and served in the British Merchant Marines and the US Army. He was a plater for the former Burndy Corporation of Milford.

Louis Geremia Giordano

Louis Geremia Giordano, age 95, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Milford Hospital.

He was born on January 27, 1917 in San Vincenzo, La Costa, Italy to the late Pasquale and Maria Asta Giordano.

He served in the Italian Army during WWII. He moved to America in 1956 and before retiring, he was employed by the Milford Board of Education as a custodian.

Bernice (“Bunny”) Claire Florian Brantley

Bernice (“Bunny”) Claire Florian Brantley, age 80 of Milford, beloved wife of Robert (“Bob”) Brantley for 59 years, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2012 in the Hospice Suite at Milford Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Bridgeport on Sept 2, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olga Florian (nee Litke).

Allan A. Brandt of Milford Connecticut died peacefully on May 1, 2012. He was 89 years old.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, he practiced as a local physician for many years prior to becoming Director of Emergency Medical Services at Milford Hospital.
