Wasson/Babe Ruth sign-up dates

The Daniel S. Wasson/Babe Ruth Baseball League recently merged with Milford Junior Major League/Pony Baseball. The combined leagues will be run by the Junior Major League Board, with George Spescha as President, providing the largest youth baseball program for ages 4-18 in Milford.

The leagues will continue to affiliate with the Pony Baseball, Babe Ruth and Senior Babe Ruth programs.

The 2012 offering includes seven divisions consisting of Shetland ages 4-6, Pinto age 7-8, Mustang ages 9-10, Bronco ages 11-12, Babe Ruth ages 13-15, Senior Babe Ruth ages 16-18.

Games will start the end of April and continue through July.

Parent support for managers, coaches, and other assistance are needed.

Registration will be held the following nights:

Tuesday, Jan 31 at Eastshore Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb 8 at Margaret Egan Center from 6 to 7 p.m.

Monday, Feb 13 at Harborside Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb 22 at Margaret Egan Center from 6 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, Feb 23 at Westy Storage from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb 28 at Eastshore Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 3 at Dick’s Sporting Goods from 12 to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, March 6 at Harborside Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Mar 13 at Westy Storage from 6 to 8 p.m.
