Foran swimmers excel

The Foran High swim team won for the third time in four starts when the Lions defeated Serymour High, 88-79, on Feb. 3. Rich Enders, Sam Olsson, Adam LaRocca and Matt Tylutki opened with a victory in the 200 medley relay with a winning time of 1:56.99.

LaRocca and Enders picked up the first of two individual victories each, when LaRocca won the 200 IM in 2:21.85 and Enders followed by touching the wall in 56.69 to take the 100 butterfly.

LaRocca took the 500 freesyle with a time of 5:41.05.

Enders completed the Lions’ first-place finishes by taking the 100 backstroke in 55.37.

Foran’s 200 freestyle relay team of Max Bierenbaum, Patrick Williams, Andrew Patrick and Olsson were best in 1:48.60.
