SCC girls hoop schedule

The Southern Connecticut Conference has released its pairings for the girls basketball playoffs. Thirteen teams qualified. The top three seeds, Career-New Haven, Hillhouse-New Haven and Mercy-Middletown, received first-round byes
Hillhouse is the defending SCC champion.
In first-round action, Jonathan Law (10-10) is seeded ninth and will play at eighth-seeded Sheehan-Wallingford at 6:30 on Thursday.
Foran High (9-11) is seeded 13th and will visit fourth-seeded West Haven (16-4) Thursday at 6:30.
With a victory, Law will play No. 1 Career (18-1) at 12 p.m. Saturday in the first quarterfinal game at Sheehan High.
With a win, Foran would play either fifth-seeded Cheshire (14-6) or 12th-seeded Hamden (9-11) at 1:45.
The semifinals are at 6 and 7:45 Monday at East Haven High.
The title game is at 7 p.m. Tuesday at TD Bank Sports Center at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.
