Foran edges Law in overtime

The Foran High girls basketball team defeated Jonathan Law 53-50 in overtime in an SCC Hammonasset Division matchup at Edna L. Fraser Gymnasium on Saturday night.
Freshman guard Danielle Kemp scored the only basket of the overtime frame, an elbow jumper that put Foran ahead for good.
With the victory, the Lions improved to 8-10 and qualified for the Class L state tournament.
Law dropped to 8-9 overall.
