SCC cheerleading Saturday

The Southern Connecticut Conference will host its seventh Cheerleading Competition on Saturday at East Haven High School. Warm-ups start at 9 a.m., and the competition will follow at 10:45.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens. Children under six will be admitted free.
Sixteen SCC schools are scheduled to participate in the competition in three divisions: exhibition, co-ed and all-girl.
Schools scheduled to compete include: Branford (all-girl and exhibition), Career (exhibition), Cheshire (all-girl), Daniel Hand (all-girl), East Haven (all-girl), Foran (all-girl), Hamden (all-girl), Hillhouse (all-girl), Lyman Hall (all-girl), Mercy (all-girl), North Haven (all-girl), Sacred Heart Academy (all-girl), Sheehan (all-girl), Shelton (co-ed), West Haven (all-girl) and Wilbur Cross (all-girl).
Shelton, North Haven, Hamden and Career were winners at last year’s Competition.
