Police investigating another armed robbery

Milford police are investigating yet another knife-point robbery. This one occurring at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, when police say a male entered the Quick Food Mart located at 305 New Haven Avenue, displayed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The male fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured during the incident, and while police are not saying whether this latest robbery is connected to a series of earlier stick ups, the description of the suspect and the method of operation are consistent with the earlier crimes.

Police spokesman Jeffrey Nielsen, in an alert sent to local media, describes the suspect as “ a white male, 5’10-6′ tall, large build wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt. “

Nielsen says police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Detective Cortes by phone at 203- 783-4731 or by email at  jcortes@ci.milford.ct.us.
