Lawmen knock off Governors, 28-12

The Jonathan Law football team turned back Wilbur Cross of New Haven, 28-12, in Devon on Friday night.

Coach Mark Robinson’s Lawmen (1-1) used a punishing ground game to knock off the Governors (0-2).

Daron Britt rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns, while Joey Ziebell gained 72 yards with a score and Timmy Mayer garnered 76 yards on the ground.

Nick Kosa had 48 yards, including a score.
