The 7th Annual Milford Irish Festival will be held on Friday, Sept. 14 from 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., rain or shine.
The festival is sponsored by the Irish Heritage Society of Milford and will be held behind the Milford Public Library at the Fowler Field Rotary Pavilion. There will be Irish music, Irish culture, dancing, children’s activities as well as food, drink and Irish wares for sale.
Music by The Alehounds, The Fenian Sons, Bobby Morrill, Stone Row, Broken Banjo Strings and The Highland Rovers with authentic Irish dance performances by the Kathleen Mulkerin School of Irish Dancing and the Lenihan School of Irish Dance.
Admission is $5 on Friday night, $10 on Saturday, with a two-day pass available for $13. Children 12 and under are free. There is no parking at the festival site, except for handicapped parking, so free shuttle bus service will be available on Saturday to and from the Parsons Complex.
