Rachel Escobar, a sophomore at Jonathan and a third-year wrestler, placed first in the 112-115 pound weight class at the Ct Girls All-State Championship held at Norwich Free Academy on Feb 18. She when undefeated against members of the Ledyard (11-1 major decision), Killingly (4-0 decision) and New Britain (second-round pin) wrestling teams.
