J.J. Ciesla scored 25 points to lead the Jonathan Law boys basketball team to a 70-68 victory over East Haven at the James Richetelli Sr. Gymnasium on Monday night.
The Lawmen took a 19-7 after one quarter and led 35-26 at the half.
East Haven won the third quarter, 20-18, before Law held off the Easties, who made nine 3-pointers.
Kevin Wall scored 19 points, including a trio of 3-pointers.
Zack Toto scored eight points, while Ciesla (two) and Dylan Vienneau had 3-pointers.
Jeremy Douchette scored five points, Brandon Williams four, and Ryan Siddall, Jack Campbell and Hawkins French had two points each.
