The Foran High girls basketball team prepared for the SCC playoffs with a 56-43 road win over Lyman Hall of Wallingford on Thursday.
The fourth-seeded Lions will take a 12-8 record into Saturday’s 4:15 p.m. quarterfinal round game with fifth-seeded Guilford (13-7) at Sheehan High in Wallingford.
Kylly Quinn scored 20 points, including three shots from beyond the arc, to defeat the seventh-seeded Trojans (12-8).
Taylor Ceballos scored 18 ponts and had 15 rebounds.
Teneya McLaughlin scored seven points and Rebekah DeRosa six.
