Downtown businesses have created a Loyalty Card, which they are launching on Valentine’s Day.

The Downtown Milford Business Association has launched a consumer Loyalty Card in association with the Downtown Milford Cares program.

The card will premiere and be available for purchase on Feb. 14 — Valentine’s Day. There is a nominal Loyalty Card purchase fee, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a fund for Milford recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy.

Consumers who purchase a Loyalty Card will receive special offers and discounts from participating association members.

According to Association President Paul Mangels, “The idea for the Loyalty Card was presented by member Karen Quinn-Panzer and developed with her committee members: Stephanie Gerke-Pelizzari of Streamline LLC, Janet Harrison of First Niagara Bank, Kara Telep of Baby Love, Tracy Edwards of Stacy Blake Realty, and Sandy Morgan of the Milford Fine Arts Council.

Cards can be purchased beginning on Valentine’s Day at the following Downtown Milford locations: Baby Love, Café Atlantique and Haircraft; Ocean’s Spray and Village Vogue Boutique.

A list of participating Loyalty Card businesses and details of their offers can be found on the website at downtownmilfordct.org, or by calling 203-878-9686.
