Police investigating voyeurism complaint at Duchess

The Milford Police Department is investigating a voyeurism incident at Duchess Restaurant on Old Gate Lane in Milford.

On Jan. 3,  a female customer discovered a camera phone that was positioned in the paper towel dispenser inside the ladies restroom she was using. The customer removed the phone and found that it was in recording mode. It was later determined that the phone belonged to a restaurant employee.

Police secured an arrest warrant for the employee, Tiago Dominguez, 24, of Bridgeport and took him into custody on Jan. 12. Dominguez was charged with voyeurism and breach of peace. Dominguez was released on a $25,000 bond and given a court date of Feb. 5.

Investigators seized the cell phone during the incident and are reviewing it for further potential victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Robert Nash of the Milford Police Department at 203-783- 4730 or email rnash@ci.milford.ct.us.
