Moe’s is back in town

Moe’s Southwest Grill is now located at the new Milford travel plaza, located on I-95 Southbound between exits 41-40.

Moe’s offers its customers healthy options from vegetarian, low-calorie to gluten free food. Its southwest cuisine includes huge burritos, taco salads, rice bowls, quesadillas and more.

The McMillan sisters are big believers in Moe’s Southwest Grill. Given the opportunity to expand from their New Haven location on Whitney Avenue, they decided what better place than the newly renovated travel plaza in Milford.

“We here at Moe’s couldn’t wait to begin this exciting adventure to not only offer Moe’s to travelers from all across the country but also get the opportunity to reestablish our relationships with local Milford residents,” said Mary McMillan.

Bill Finnegan, general manager, said the staff prepares fresh products daily, such as guacamole, pico de gallo, tortilla chips and more.

“We have over 20 fresh ingredients for our patrons to choose from,” he said. “It’s all about the freshness. Our chicken is all natural, cage and hormone-free. Our steak is 100% sirloin steak, grass-fed, and of course, no hormones added. And lets not forget, chips and salsa are always free with any entree.”

Jeannine and Mary McMillan also have the rights to Carvel, offering soft serve cones, cups, milkshakes and sundaes.

Frequent diner cards allow patrons to buy nine entrees and the tenth entree is free. Moe’s will continue to offer their catering options to local businesses and family events.
