Proposed cell tower should concern all residents

To the Editor:

In a letter dated June 20, 2014, Jonathan D. Bercham (City Attorney) gave notice that the City of Milford is considering a proposal to allow AT&T to install, operate, and maintain a cell tower on Eels Hill.

Unfortunately, only homes abutting the property received this notification. An information meeting is planned to take place Thursday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chambers at City Hall, on 110 River Street. This should concern all residents as there are heath risks associated with cell towers and an impact on property values in the area.

Please reach out to Mayor Ben Blake, 203-783-3201, to voice your concerns.
