The Foran High football team defeated Jonathan Law, 56-29, at the Vito DeVito Sports Complex on Thanksgiving.
Connor Cadrin scored five touchdowns and had two interceptions for coach Jeff Bevino’s Lions (6-4).
Joe Ziebell ran for 121 yards and Daron Britt scored two touchdowns for coach Mark Robinson’s Lawmen (4-6).
Jake Kasuba threw two touchdown passes to Nick Weissauer to balance Britt’s two scores, before Cadrin found the end zone for the first time with a 73-yard reception to give Foran a 22-14 halftime lead.
Foran’s Zach White had a conversion run and the Lions’ Sam Olsson and Law’s Mick Murray matched PATs in the first two quarters.
Kasuba threw his fourth touchdown, a 30-yarder to Cadrin to open the second-half scoring.
Ziebell broke off a 60-yard run to get the points back, but Cadrin returned the kickoff 75 yards.
Cadrin, who won the Ken Walker MVP Award, tacked on an 80-yard run and Foran took a 43-21 lead into the final quarter.
Chris Hoey scored for Foran and Nick Kosa for Law on three-yard runs, and then Cadrin ran it in from 17 yards out to complete the scoring.
