Kenneth (Ken) S. Ferrari has been appointed as vice president of mortgage lending at Sikorsky Federal Credit Union.
Ferrari, who joined the credit union on March 31, will be working out of the credit union’s headquarters in Stratford, reporting to Charles Hoddinott, senior vice president of Retail Delivery and Chief Lending Officer.
Ferrari has over 20 years of management experience within the mortgage industry. Most recently, he was the director of the Community Mortgage Lenders of America (CMLA), a national mortgage banking trade association that supports small to mid-sized mortgage lenders.
Prior to the CMLA, Ferrari was the executive vice president of Mortgage Banking at Darien Rowayton Bank, where he partnered with the bank’s executive team to transition their residential lending platform from portfolio lender to full service mortgage banker.
“I am very excited to have Ken Ferrari join our team,” said Charles Hoddinott. “He has a wealth of experience that will benefit our current and future members as they seek out the best solutions to their mortgage needs.”
Ferrari earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Westfield State University in Massachusetts, and is a member of the Mortgage Banker’s Association. He grew up in the greater Boston area, and moved to Connecticut in 1995. Currently, he lives in Litchfield County with his wife and two teenage children.
