Lawmen blank Lions, 11-0

Seven Lawmen had hits and six players accounted for RBIs, when coach Greg Simler’s Jonathan Law baseball team pinned an 11-0 loss on visiting Foran High on Saturday.
Kevin Johnson allowed only three hits, struck out six batters and walked one, before Rich Dow pitched a perfect seventh inning in relief.
Sam Olsson drove the game’s first pitch to right field for a triple for coach Garrett Walker’s Lions, but Foran couldn’t get the runner home.
Law scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the first inning with Johnson walking with the bases loaded to plate one and Dow’s sacrifice fly accounting for the other.
Foran center fielder Tyler Kasuba threw a runner out at the plate to end the rally.
Law added two more runs in the second on three walks, a hit, and an error.
Law scored six times in the fifth inning, with Jim Palmer striking the big blow a two-run home run into the trees behind the fence in left field.
