Police investigating Friday night gas station robbery

FI-PoliceThe Milford Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Shell Gas Station at 25 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford Friday night.

A preliminary investigation revealed that on April 4 at about 10:52 p.m. police received a complaint that a man wearing a black mask entered the store brandishing a handgun. The man took an undisclosed amount of money and several packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing the store. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a denim jacket.
