The city of Milford is asking people to trick-or-treat Friday, Nov. 9, because there is another storm coming.
“We are asking everyone to prepare for the Nor’easter coming late Wednesday,” Mayor Ben Blake said in a prepared release. “We expect rain and 20-30 mph winds with gusts up to 50 mph.”
Last week, due to downed power lines and fallen trees, the city, as well as many surrounding communities, postponed Halloween in the interest of the safety of children.
“In light of the anticipated Nor’easter, we are asking everyone to celebrate Halloween on Friday, Nov. 9,” the mayor said.
