Boys & Girls Club dodgeball tournament coming up in March

The Boys & Girls Club of Milford will hold its second annual Dodgeball Tournament  March 8.

The games will kick off at 1 p.m.  Due to the overwhelming success of the 2013 tournament, this year’s event has been moved to Jonathan Law High School, 20 Lansdale Avenue.

The event is a 40-team double-elimination tournament. Championship belts will be awarded to the top team in the tournament.

Doors open at 11 a.m. for team check-in with tournament play kicking off at 1 p.m. Friends, supporters and the general public are welcome. Suggested admission for spectators is $5 per person, children under 16 are free. Raffles and food will be available for purchase throughout the day.

“The Boys & Girls Club is excited about hosting the second annual Dodgeball Tournament,” said Megan Altomare, executive director, Boys & Girls Club of Milford. “Last year’s event proved that the community has great dodgeball talent, and the club is happy to host this event full of friendly competition. See you on the courts.”
