Family of Glenn O’Donnelly thanks church and friends

To the Editor:

The Higgins family would like to thank the Woodmont United Church of Christ and the Reverend Arthur Yost for the service they officiated for our sister Glenn O’Donnelly on Saturday, January 25. A special thank you goes to Melissa Osanitsch for lending her beautiful voice to the service and to Bruce Barrett for accompanying her on piano. We would also like to thank the wonderful parishioners who hosted the reception. Your very generous donation of your time and services are sincerely appreciated.

We also wish to extend a special thank you to the very caring drivers who transported her back and forth from her doctor appointments, cancer treatments, or hospital stays to home; Dr. Shao Lu, MD, who was her trusted doctor for many years; Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven and The Connecticut Hospice in Branford for the truly caring way they attended to her, and finally we do want to thank Thomas Nash, Group Publisher, of the Milford Mirror for his help and consideration.

Anyone wishing to make a donation in remembrance of our sister Glenn please consider the Woodmont United Church of Christ, 1000 New Haven Avenue, Milford, CT 06460, Red Cross, Cancer Society Drivers, Smilow Cancer Hospital, or The Connecticut Hospice.
