The Coast Guard is searching for a missing swimmer in Milford.
Missing is 40-year-old Brian Bakunas, who was last seen swimming near the Walnut Beach Pier shortly before 8 p.m. The reporting source lost site of Bakunas in the heavy surf.
The Coast Guard is urging the public to stay clear of beaches – Even the best swimmers can fall victim to the strong waves and rip currents caused by Hurricane Sandy.
