Police released this surveillance camera photo of the alleged robber.

The Milford Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the General Electric Employees Federal Credit Union located at 265 Bic Drive in Milford.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank at approximately 8:44 a.m., brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer. The suspect fled the bank in a waiting vehicle operated by a second person.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9”, thin build, mustache, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, denim jean and black winter gloves with a snowflake design across the knuckle area.

The operator of the vehicle is described as a light skinned male wearing a gray hat.

The vehicle is a 1995 Honda Accord, two-door, green, bearing Connecticut registration plate 865ZUL. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Schoolhouse Road toward I-95.
